House deed
A house deed has two peoples names on it. The two people are not married. They have no children. After one person dies, can a lean be put on the property because of the deceased's debt?

Re: House deed
Maybe. Assuming you are tenants in Common there are no inheritance rights. The estate of the deceased can still be sued for unpaid debts and his assets attached.
