Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Massachusetts

Kelly credit services

I paid a credit service for three months in which they only paid two bills and stole the rest of my money. How do i get my money back and proof of what they paid? They took 800.00 and paid 100. in bills, so i stopped the transaction of letting them take money out of my account.

Re: Kelly credit services

As attorney Lebensbaum said, there must be a record of what payments were made somewhere.

You should start by taking the check you wrote to Kelly and comparing it with your credit card statements. If you wrote a check for $800.00 and your credit card balance only reflects a payment of $100.00, then you had $700.00 stolen from you (barring processing fees and deposits, etc.).

This might fall under Massachusetts's consumer protection statute. You should retain an attorney to make a proper demand of this money. Failing that, you should bring suit to recover your money.
