Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Massachusetts
Lien on property
I received judgement in a civil case, can I attach a lien on property in another state if defendant does not pay. Also what if defendant's property is in a Corporate name and not in their own name.
Thank you.

Re: Lien on property
To perfect your judgment in another State you must first domesticate your judgment in that State. The judgment lien is only valid as against the named Judgment debtor's property.
