Litigation regarding credit card debt

RE: Request for Admission, Interrogatories, Request for Documents .... Just how specific must my answers be .. what is best strategy. If documents not available (lost/destroyed) will the hurt my case?

There are no stock answers to the strategic questions you ask. If you're not a lawyer, you probably have no idea what answers could help or hurt the merits of your defense. You should think carefully about representing yourself and preparing your own discovery responses. However, if you do proceed yourself, always be truthful, and answer the question asked but say only the bare minimum. Think about the words you choose as well.

Lost documents are lost documents. Just tell the truth about what happened to them. Expect an argument at trial you intientionally destroyed them, but the truth is the truth.
