our neighbors crashed their car into our garage door and are now refusing to pay to have it replaced. What can we do to get them to pay?

File a claim with their insurer and/or retain an attorney to file a suit for damages. Good Luck!

I agree with the others that you will need to make a claim against their insurance company. If they will not readily provide you with their insurance information, sue them in the small claims division ($7,000.00 max) or in the regular civil docket of the district court ($25,000.00 max).
