Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Massachusetts

Payday Loans Illegal in Ma

I have been having a lot of financial trouble and have stupidly fallen into the trap of using payday loans. Now I am doing a little research since I got shafted by one of them. I have discovered that they are illegal in MA. I am going to assume I have nor recourse in getting any monies back but how do I stop them from taking further payments? Please help!
