Property Siezure

I have accumulated credit card debt....and at this time am unable to pay. Can my property (house) be taken from me for non payment of this debt?

Probably not. If you recorded a Homestead Declaration when you bought the house, that PROBABLY protects it. The timing and sequence of events is important, so I can only say >probably< because I don't know those facts. Ultimately, however, if you file a bankruptcy case, the house could be protected AND you could get rid of the credit card bills. If you want more information, call me or email me.
