putting a lien on someone property

i loaned my stepson 20,000 $ i won a judgement on him to pay me the moneyi live in mass and he lives in rohade island how do i go about putting a lien on his property or pay check to get my money back i am in my 70.s and need the money it was my lifes savings

Re: putting a lien on someone property

Obtain an execution from the Court that entered the Judgment and arrange to have the Deputy Sheriff's Office in the County where your step son lives levy the execution as a lien against such real estate as he owns in the County Registry of Deeds. If he owns no real estate you must commence a Supplementary Process action against him to have him summonsed before the Court to be examined as to his financial ability to pay the Judgment and obtain an order that he do so.
