You might consider sending a written demand for the amount owed, including the cost to you as a result of the insufficient funds. If you do not get a response, you should file suit. If you do not yet have a business attorney to assist you in these and other matters as they arise, please feel free to give me a call.

Retain an attorney to advise whether, after a proper certified RRR letter is sent notifying the customer the check was returned for "ISF" without receiving certified funds paying it in full, you should commence a criminal complaint for larceny by fraudulent check or a civil suit for the balance due. Good Luck!

I agree, or if this fails, file an action in Court.
