Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Massachusetts

I signed a contract with Royal Holiday (Fraudulent Company) it was suppose to be a defered paymenent but they charged my card. Citibank representatives on 2 separate occasions told me that my credit card absoulutely could not be charged. By and behold it was 3 weeks later. If I was given the correct information by citibank I would have canceled my card. Disputed it twice with citibank who claims now I have to pay. Can I file (small claims) against Citibank. The amount was $2,300.00. Is there any repercussions I can take regarding Citibank? I have excellent credit. What would be the repercussions besides a mark of bad credit if I did not pay Citibank .

This is an unfortunate situation with Royal Holiday and Citibank. If Citibank told you this and this was not true or if Citibank otherwise violated the law (including consumer laws) you may have claims and causes againt them. You have more facts that may be useful in evaluating your question.

This Office represents consumers in certain cases. Feel free to contact us or your own legal representative for a more thorough evaluation of this matter. Our initial consultation in these cases is free. Good Luck!
