store purchase

I purchase a bicycle at a local bike shop and financed it with the bike company's credit card over 4 months ago. I have my receipt that said I paid/financed the bike and there was no balance due... however my credit card company was never billed for the bike. Now... 4 months later the store is calling me to pay for the bike even though I have a receipt... am I responsible for payment

The issue is whether you are responsible for paying for a bicycle which you admittedly purchased and which has not been paid for. I think you answered your own question.
