I just recieved a notice to appear in small claims court due to non payment of a Walmart Credit card for the amount of $699. It was sold to GE Money bank to collect, and they are suing me.. What are my options...I do owe the credit card, but have been out of work and couldn't pay,,,, what should I do.

Briefly, the plaintiff has to prove by documentary evidence that there was a proper chain of sales from the original creditor to the present filer.
If you have an inability to pay, you can call the plaintiff or in court make payment arrangements.
