time share

I own a time share. paid 65-70% of payments. Lost job. received a letter from attrny threatening to attach/take my personal property. contact them within 30 days or they will take my car. I can't afford to make payments.

No attorney can attach or take your property without first taking you to court.

It is unclear whether the attorney contacting you represents the time share company itself, or a debt-collecting company.

Depending on the amount at stake here, you may want to consult with an attorney.
