2 counts of larceny of more than $250
My son is being held in a correctional institution on $2500 bail for a breaking and entering charge of 2 counts of larceny of more than $250. What do you think will be the punishment?

No one could give a fair estimate based upon the information that you provided. A sentence, if any, would depend upon the quality of the evidence and the defense provided, amongst other factors. I would encourage your son to acquire counsel who will fight the charges- as a conviction would have long lasting effects.

1. has he petitioned for an appeal of his bail.
2. If he is being held on such high bails there must be something in either or both his history or charges that compelled the court to set such a high amount.
