accused of larceny
Hi, about a year ago I was accused of larceny for a woman that a work for she accused me of take around 900,00 dollars from her house . i get these paper from court I don't know if is real the papers because I never went to court, now Im file for my paper on the immigracion and i dont how to cleaning my name what should i do first go to court , and if i have a warranty because i din't show up, what should i do?

You should go to court and remove the default and litigate this matter.
When Immigration checks your status, this will come up.

Call the court and ask them to look up your file by the number on top of the papers that you received, or by your name. They will tell you if there is a default warrant. Ask them when is the best time to come to court and remove the default. It is advisable to consult an attorney first. If you cannot afford an attorney, the court will appoint an attorney to represent you "free of charge" (there's still a small fee in most cases). Most likely, if this woman got her money back or she no longer wishes maintain her accusations, the case will be dismissed. Feel free to email or call my office with questions.
