adding to harassment question

does an adult witness to what's going on with the man on our street have to be non-related? my husband has been with me during a couple of these occurences. no neighbors will corroborate anything as they are terrified of the man who screams at us and runs at us.

Re: adding to harassment question

Your husband can be a witness. I'm surprised the neighbors won't corroborate anything. They are enabling this person to continue this type of conduct. Your husband's testimony can be attacked as being biased but so what. It doesn't mean that he shouldn't be a witness. The attack will come from a defense attorney but that does not necessarily mean a judge or jury will believe him less. It is only an argument. Obviously, an unrelated, uninterested third party would be less susceptible to this type of argument.
