Legal Question in Criminal Law in Massachusetts
Anonymity in rape trails: is it possible?
if a minor is raped on and off for two years, manages to
run away from home and escape the rapes, and then
approximately two years after the rapes have ended,
takes her rapists to court, can she request a
psuedonymn, to change the trail to a different country
from her own, or that the trial records be placed under
such restricted access that a researcher searching an
online database can not find anything pertaining to this
court case? thank you very much.

If this matter is in the court, the defendant has a right as provided by law to certain information. As to any changes in name, this involves going to the probate court.
