armed robbery

my boyfriend is being held in jail for armed robbery,but they keep continueing the trial. if the victim does not show up to the trial. will the charges be dropped

YOu have not said why they are continuing the trial date. If the only person who can place him and identify him, and there is no other indirect evidence, it is likely that the charge will be dismissed.
