I was arrested for fighting with my boyfriend,and sent to jail. I went to court and the judge dimissed the case. Do I have a criminal record now?

It depends on whether you were arraigned or not prior to the dismissal. Arraignment is the point in the process where the criminal charge is formally entered and placed on your record. If the judge dismissed the case prior to arraignment, then you will have no criminal record. On the other hand, if the judge dismissed the case after arraignment, then your record will show that you were charged with the offense, and that the case was subsequently dismissed.
