Legal Question in Criminal Law in Massachusetts

I got an assault charge filed and went to a clerk magistrate and she left the case pending for z6 months and said if I did not get any more charges filed in the 6 months it would be like it never happened. Do I have a criminal record

No, it sounds like there will be no charges filed and you will not have a criminal record for this, unless you get into trouble in the next 6 months.
