Bail revoked
When someone is out on personal recognances and is picked up again, after a 60 day period would the personal be reinstated or would another bail be set?

Re: Bail revoked
In most cases, the bail would be revoked on the first case (although depends upon the charge in the new case and the defendant's record as to whether the Comm would even move to revoke the bail or a Judge would allow the motion to revoke) and then a new bail could be placed on the new case. If it is revoked, at the end of the 60 days, the Commonwealth could ask for new bail on the old case but the bail on the new case (if any)would still be there. Hope that this helps-Martha Kovner
