Legal Question in Criminal Law in Massachusetts

I have bipolar and never really had a fit of rage iluntil sat early morn. My bf shut off the stereo we were both drinking yes it was loud but I I turned it back up he came back in and ripped out the speakerbwire I flipped and smashed the receiver and CD player than tipped the tv over and it broke. He called the cops I was still in a rage even more when the cops were there I told them he hit me

They arrested him for assault and battery with a dangerous weapon I got no marks on me but they still arrested him he has court in the morning and they gave him no bail I feel horrible meds r being adjusted still
