Legal Question in Criminal Law in Massachusetts
My boyfriend was arrested in August and charged with four counts of distribution of cocaine in a school zone through four controlled buys. My question is as I research this case every day trying to prove how corrupt our local police department is, is the search warrant was signed by the court on a Saturday. Is that possible? The court is only open Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm so how could they possibly get it signed on a Saturday? Will that make the warrant invalid?

you are probably looking for the wrong defense.
A search warrant can be signed when the court is not in session.
This is very common.
As to validity of a warrant, this is a legal and factual matter that cannot be briefly answered.
