Legal Question in Criminal Law in Massachusetts

my boyfriend and his friend were riding on a mbta bus when his friend seen a boy with a phone and wanted it to come up on some cash. So his friend stood and front of the little boy and robbed him for his phone my boyfriend had no partrs he was jus sitting there, Now they are both arrested but hes being arrested on the behalf of someone elses stupidity. I can;t afford his bail which is 15,000 and hes only 17 and this is his first adult case. Is there a way he can get out on probation hes a god kid just got stuck with wrong crowd any advice will be good right now.

But he can file for bail review in Superior Court.
