Legal Question in Criminal Law in Massachusetts

Bullying

What legal protection do i have, from someone who has created a video, that captured a fight/struggle between that bully and myself, the cyber bully is going to post the video on the Internet. The video ironically shows that person on top of me, striking me with her fists. That person has gone to the police and has filed charges against me, but the video that they captured, clearly shows that person beating me up. what legal recuse do i have to protect name name from slander and is it possible for me to sue that person for there assault and planned prepared video taking session. The bully by the way, step father is a local policeman. I personally believe that this bully picked on me because the bully has an imbalance of power due to her step policeman dad and her behavior was intentional and that video capture was for her to boast that she beat me up and to add insult to injury she and her dad pressed charges against me..

Re: Bullying

You have options. First, you can petition for an injunction to prevent the video from being posted on the web, and second, you can sue not only the bully but her parents as well should they allow this or fail to prevent it.

You may also file an application for criminal complaint for the assault and battery on you. What criminal charges are they trying to bring against you?
