Legal Question in Criminal Law in Massachusetts
My car was stolen, someone took the keys from a graduation party at my house then came back and stoled the car and crashed it in the process . The car was parked in front of the house for a while because it had an expired inspecion sticker. The insurance company has been giving me a hard time because of it. They tell me now they are not going to pay for the car. Now they send me a deposition paper .What is a deposition for?& what happens if i don't go? Thank you for your help.

The purpose of a deposition is to get a sworn statement from you under oath.
Although I don't know anything about your case, my guess is that the insurance company is giving you a problem because (I assume) the car was not reported stolen to the police.
