what are the chances of having a deal offered by the DA as a reduced sentence of 5 yrs to 3 yrs. being offered again when the person charged took off?

It's hard to tell without being involved directly in the case and know ing the specific circumstances. It certainly doesn't help matters that the person charged took off, however.
