Legal Question in Criminal Law in Massachusetts

I was charged with larceny from a building and breaking into depository. I was house sittin for a family friend, was drinking alot and found a cash box with a large amount of money in it, I took 1400 of it thinkin I could pay it back before they returned, I could not. But now I Have enough money to repay in court. no record, what do you think will happen

You should hire an attorney or request a court appointed attorney in this matter. The attorney has greater ability to negotiate matters than you do. If you stand up in court and admit taking the money but willing to repay it, you are looking at a guilty admission. The lawyer can offer the money without you admitting your guilt.
