Check Fraud

I issued a check to a company. It appears they made a copy of the check, deposited the original, waited a month and deposited the copy. The bank allowed the copy to be processed. The copy was OBVIOUSLY a copy. The bank has refunded the amount of the check but is there any legal recourse I can take against the bank and/or the customer? The customer (a large nationwide corporation) is clearly engaged in fraud and the bank should be responsible for allowing the fraud.
