Child Born out of wed-lock and a restraining order
What Can I Do?
During my previous relationship my then girlfriend of 2 years got pregnant. After 3 months we split up. It was a bad few months after that. I recieved a restraining order because i was ''a threat.'' I stood back and didnt contact her even though i was eager to know about my baby. After some time she contacted me, violating the restraining order. She even came to my house, but i didnt let her in. She sent me emails, made calls to me. I didnt care because i got to know that my baby had been born and I got even a few pictures. I waited patiently until the day of the court for my restraining order. Its months away and after she got mad at me for maintaing our conversations foucused on our child now i know nothing. wHAT CAN I DO??

A restraining order should be a signal of this ex's vendictiveness and dangerousness to you. She cannot violate a restraining order. You can.
While this is bizarre, it is not rare. You really need to consult with an attorney. You can file in probate court for a visitation order. Although, she will seek child support.
You should really contact an attorney, and discuss your options and strategy. She could be setting you up.
You are welcome to contact me.

It is unclear to me whether there is still a restraining order outstanding, whether you have a return court date, and whether the restraining order includes the child. What court issued the order?
