Legal Question in Criminal Law in Massachusetts

At my college, the rule is that if you ever throw up, you get transported to the hospital via ambulance. Well I am sick, and I also have acid reflux. Last night I went to the movies around 7:00 and got back at 9:30. I then went to my friends room to watch the prequel to the movie, and i had 3 shots. I felt sick and I went to the bathroom, where the police then told me I had to take a breathalyzer and a field sobriety test. I refused both and went back into my dorm room. They followed me and told me I had no choice and had to go to the hospital. I did, and the nurses told me I was fine and I came right back. I now have a hearing for alcohol abuse and I lose scholarship money and other perks at the school. I know I am innocent, but what can I do to fight this charge?

Get a copy of the hospital record as well as the police report, Get a copy of the school rules. Bring witnesses to the hearing. Even if they impose some type of discipline, I doubt that it would be something that will jeopardize your scholarship unless you have a prior "record ".
