Legal Question in Criminal Law in Massachusetts
Conspiracy to Purchase Drugs
I recently attempted to purchase cubensis mushrooms and was sold oyster mushrooms(can be bought in the store). I told the dealer i would slash his tires if i didnt get my money back. He didnt give me my money back but i didnt slash his tires. Apparently someone did and they are pegging it on me. My alabi is solid i was at work all day with my boss and coworkers. I wanted to know if the police were involved whether i can be implicated on conspiracy to purchase drugs.

Re: Conspiracy to Purchase Drugs
Let me get this straight: You want to tell the police that you only threatened to slash your drug dealer's tires because he sold you FAKE drugs?
Are you competing for a Darwin Award?
Your "dealer" likely can't even be prosecuted for a drug charge since he clearly never intended to sell you drugs (and didn't)... while you on the other hand conspired to purchase them. You put yourself in a very, very bad situation.
Re: Conspiracy to Purchase Drugs
If you have an alibi, you have no need to talk to the police about any threats that you did or didn't make or the reason that you made them. If they do not have anyone who saw you do it, they can not prove it. Of course, you need to get witnesses into court to testify on your behalf as you can not testify due to the possibility of drug charges.
Good luck with that.
