Re: continued with out a finding

Continued without a finding is an admission to sufficient facts and not a plea of guilty. It will appear on your board of probation record. It will not be considered a conviction for purposes of job or college applications. With a continuation without a finding --you will be on either supervised or unsupervised probation for a period of time and there may be conditions like paying money or doing counseling. When the time period is up the case will then be dismissed but it will always remain on your record.

If you have no prior record, sometimes Judges will dismiss cases on payment of court costs or give someone pre-trial probation depending upon what the charge is. It all really depends upon how familiar the attorney is with the court and also with criminal law. Hope that this helps.
