Legal Question in Criminal Law in Massachusetts
Conviction in a foreign country
Several years ago, I was arrested in England and charged with GBH s-20. I pled guilty.
Do I need to report this when applying for jobs in the United States if an application asks whether I've ever been convicted of a felony or misdemeanor?

If you do not, you would be lying by omission on your application and consequently, if the employer had resources that could determine this, you would not get the job. Adversely, by being honest, you may not get the job by accurately answering the question but then again, you just might. Its your reputation.
