Re: Counterfeiting

Counterfeiting is a very serious charge and typically involves the Treasury Department/Secret Service, since in addition to assuring the safety of the President, they are also in charge of protecting the country's money supply. The charge does allow for jail time and depending on the level of sophistication, equipment, amount of money made, etc. they could be looking for jail time in your case. There are many things that you need to have your attorney look at, such as the search warrant, the search in general, the informant, if they used one, etc. You should hire an attorney as soon as possible. It is a very serious charge and your lawyer needs to get to work on discovery as soon as possible.
