Legal Question in Criminal Law in Massachusetts
in a criminal case can a attorney represent the defendent in the criminal case along with representing him in a real estate case of which the defendent is restained from the property due to the criminal act of a minor child.so the question is can he represent him in both cases and would he be allowed to use criminal case to get access to the property?

An attorney can represent his/her client in both matters. If in the criminal case, there is something that may be used as evidence, he may go in there. He may have to have a judges order to do so. I would consult an attorney and present them with all of the facts.
