Re: criminal law
If the son a young child, the charge becomes more serious. Still, with no criminal record, jail is avoidable if the case is handled well. What court is the case in?
Re: criminal law
The statute allows for up to 2.5 years in the House of Correction for Assault & Battery. However, with a good criminal defense attorney, he should be able to stay out of jail. If you would like to see much more about the elements that the Commonwealth must prove to convict him and the potential penalties, go to my website at www.LawWorcester.com Your boyfriend should hire a good criminal defense attorney ASAP.
Re: criminal law
He should retain an attorney and speak only with that attorney about this. Good Luck!
