Criminal Law Question/ Record Sealing

If a case was dismissed via leave of the prosecution, can the prosecution ever bring that case up again? Can the CORI record also be sealed as it now has a DLP next to the charge on the CORI record?

Unless it is dismissed with prejudice, a new complaint may be requested.

There is a sealing statute. On the CORI, the charge(s) will appear with the notation of their dismissal.
