Legal Question in Criminal Law in Massachusetts

criminal law

I am totally disabled. I am being falsely accused of arson. A friend of mine had called me in distress and my daughter called her local police to go check on her, completely unsure of her address. Then my friend turned around and accused me of threatening to burn her house and garage down, which i never did. And she left a message at my house accusing my daughter. what should i do?

Re: criminal law

Retain an attorney to represent you and speak only with that attorney about this. Do not put details in unsecure emails or voice mails. Good Luck!

Re: criminal law

You obviously need to hire an attorney to assist you in challeging these charges. There is little more than that to tell you. Hire an attorney you can trust and then follow his advice.

Call the police. If you get arraigned, the court will appoint an attorney for you.
