Legal Question in Criminal Law in Massachusetts

criminal record and immigration

I was arrested and convicted in 1971, when I was a minor, for posession of a class C substance with intent

to distribute. I was given probation (5years) and told

if I didn't violate probation, my record would be sealed after 7 years. I have had no other problems.

I am ready to marry a canadian and immigration requires

police and F.B.I. clearance. I had my record passed

by police and was told it was clear. Would the F.B.I.

have anything on file from my fingerprints???
