Legal Question in Criminal Law in Massachusetts
How can I get a criminal summons dropped for annoying phone calls? I went to the police station to get information on how to get a harassment order. Somehow, I misunderstood a portion of the conversation with the officer, as he later filed for a criminal harassment summons on my behalf. I never wanted to press charges, I simply wanted the calls to stop. I need this to be dropped how can I fix this? I did not/do not wish to cause this person any legal troubles. Especially criminal!
