default warrants, statue of limitations
2 years ago i was charged with poss w/intent to distr. class b contr. substance also school zone violation. I had to fire my court appointed lawyer in order to delay trial. My question is if there is a default warrent issued, would their be a statue of limitations on how long i could be tried for the felony?

Re: default warrants, statue of limitations
No--the staute of limitations only applies to when the charges are taken out--you have already been charged and arraigned on the crime --so the warrant can remain in effect until you either turn yourself in on it or you are arrested on it.
