Legal Question in Criminal Law in Massachusetts
i am the defendant of an assault case.bar fight. i finally got a copy of the 911 turret tape which i beleive could help my case. it was only the last 10 seconds of the call then just the radio jumble of the police. my lawyer says he'll get me another copy but it might be the same. am i entitled to the full version? now my lawyer says it is inadmissable. but the person made the call seconds after the incident and i was still on scene.being yelled at and threatened. would that be considered an exited utterance and be admissable? for some reason the victim witness office asked my defense witness to come into there office to speak to them on the morning of the trial. my public defender said this is fine.and she'll get a check for $11, should i trust this lawyer?this doesnt sond right for my witness to make a statement to them without my lawyer. or for my witness to be around the prosecution witnesses. thank you for your time. sean.

i am not sure why your lawyer is saying it; he can be used under some circumstances to bolster your case.
there is an apparent communication gap between you and your attorney that your need to resolve.
