if a defendant has a pending case and gets a restraining order against them from a new case does it affect his present case

Yes, it could. It may be that your probation officer will ask for a hearing to see if you violated the terms of your pre-trial release. If I were you, I would make contact with my PO right away, explain what happened, and do what he or she says.
