driving outside time restriction

not sure if area of law is correct... law= m.g.l. ch90 sec 8

Question about town/state law...

In the town of Mendon I received a citation for operating a vehicle outside time restriction but i was pulled over for no reason. I am the owner of the car and am 17 years old. The officer did not have proof- until after they pulled me over- that i was unable to drive at that time due to the junior operator's law. i got the ticket 2 in the morning after the movie i was seeing ended at the drive-in's. the officer pulled me over after following me for no reason for over a minute. after he pulled me over, came to my car for my license and reg., then went back to his car for 5 or so minutes he came back and said that it appears that i was driving outside of time restriction and gave no other reason as to why i was pulled over. i want to fight this and was just seeking some advice.

The officer does need a baseline of proof to pull someone over. So if you want to contact me, you can. There is no email here.

The service did not publish your e-mail address or I would have replied directly. You may very well have a Motion to Suppress to supress the evidence gained without proper process. I would have to look at the police report for a more definative answer, but from what you state, it is highly possible.
