Legal Question in Criminal Law in Massachusetts
I was ejected from a basketball game after getting my second technical foul. I then preceded to say this is bullshit and went up to his face, when he grabbed me and wouldnt let to. I tried to get away from him but couldnt. I now have a couple scratches on my arms. He wants to press assault charges, does he have a case?

when he grabbed you, he committed a battery. You can press criminal charges against him.
You don't provide enough information about the incident to offer an opinion. Long story short -- if you approached him in a threatening way and he had reason to believe you were getting ready to hurt him physically rather than just argue with him, he may have a case. Based on how little information you provided about the circumstances, however, it is not possible to give you a good answer. If he is thinking about pressing charges, you should speak in person with a criminal defense attorney and explain the circumstances to that person. Good luck.
