Not unless the Commonwealth is willing to reduce the charge to simple assault anf battery any they, the victim and the Court approve of an Accord and satifaction agreement to be carefully drafted by your Attorney.

It is the Commonwealth's decision. Simple assault can be resolved by an agreement if approved by the court. You should get an attorney to interview the victim for you. If the victim does not want to go forward, you advocate will be able to use this to your advantage. Please call if you have any questions.
