Legal Question in Criminal Law in Massachusetts

False Accusation Case?

I would like to know if I can file false accusation charges on an employee at my job. I am the employee's manager and he has consistently lead the owner to believe that I have submitted some information to his wife which has jeopardized his relationship. On or about January 10th the employee came to my place of residence with the intention to prove that I gave his wife some incriminating paperwork on him. Then on January the 11th he came into the office and spoke to the owner with regards to the same paperwork trying to persuade the owner into believing that I once again was the guily party. On January 18 I advised the employee in front of the owner that he should not be going around stating things that he can not prove as he will only get himself into trouble. On January 22, he wrote the owner a letter insinuating once again that I am guilty. The owner refused to sign the letter. This is an ongoing problem and though he does not actually state my name in the letter he has lead the owner to believe that he is referring to me as I am the only person being questioned in the company with regards to this problem.
