If a person was covincted of a felony(drug charge) and served five years in prison does the felony ever get erased from a persons record? Or does the felony stay on the record for life?

Re: Felony charges
Every matter once arraigned or subject to arraignment whether in district or superior court appears and stays on the CORI for ever.
The likelihood of expungement or "cleaning" the record is so remote in most circumstances, that its prsuit is foolhardy;
Juvenile records are viewed somethat differently;
