Legal Question in Criminal Law in Massachusetts
Does a felony such as Open & Gross automatically drop off a CORI after 15 years, or do you have to have it sealed first? I do not have to register as a sexual offender.

No it does not "drop off". You need to file a petition to seal the record

No. You would need to file a Petition to Seal your record. Good Luck!

They stay on the CORI forever-unless you file a petition to seal.
